The challenge
Make a shared mission easy to understand.
Dairy 4 Good helps consumers understand New York’s dairy industry and its approach to sustainability. The redesign needed to bring together the people involved, the stages of milk production, and explanations of farming practices while working within the supplied brand.
Organizing that breadth of material into an approachable experience was central to EVM’s work. The design question was how to help people understand the connection between dairy farming and the communities it serves.

The collaboration
CPC’s client.
EVM’s website delivery.
The project came to EVM through Corning Place Communications, which hired EVM to redesign its client’s website. Together, the supplied brand and EVM’s design and development work shaped the finished experience.

The work in detail / 01
Put the purpose in the first impression.
The homepage pairs agricultural imagery with the message “NY dairy farms feeding families.” That gives visitors an immediate connection between the farms and the people they serve.
A visitor can begin with the purpose of the organization before exploring its individual topics.
The work in detail / 02
Give people a clear way into the story.
The website organizes the experience around About, Milk’s Journey, and Sustainability. Milk’s Journey follows five stages, from the fields through distribution and retail. A video collection adds perspectives from farms and industry experts, while the sustainability section explains individual practices.
Visitors can follow the production journey in sequence or explore a particular topic. This is the content organization EVM delivered in practice.

The work in detail / 03
Carry the design through to the working website.
Reusable templates and editable sections supported content management, with editor training and handoff documentation included in the delivery. Mobile and tablet layouts, browser testing, form testing, and launch checks were also completed.
Performance
Image compression and sizing, caching, asset loading, font optimization, and animation performance.
Accessibility
Semantic headings, keyboard navigation, focus states, contrast, alternative text, and reduced-motion support.
Security & reliability
Access roles, updates, backups, recovery procedures, HTTPS, and form-spam protection.
Launch work covered staging, migration, hosting configuration, DNS, and integrations. Redirects, metadata, indexing checks, and analytics were also part of delivery, followed by ongoing maintenance.
A successful design has to work as a live experience. The implementation needs to account for how people navigate, read, and interact with the site as well as how it looks.

Outcomes
A structured educational experience.
Complete delivery for CPC.
An organized way to explore a complex subject.
The completed website brings Dairy 4 Good’s story into About, Milk’s Journey, and Sustainability. Visitors can follow milk’s journey from the fields to retail, explore sustainability practices, and hear from farms and industry experts. EVM’s content organization and layouts give that breadth of material a defined structure.
Design and development through one agency partner.
CPC commissioned EVM for its client’s website, and EVM carried the work from mockups through the complete WordPress build. The delivery combined layouts, content organization, animation, and technical work addressing security, accessibility, and performance. CPC had a single partner across the website’s design and implementation.
